Treatments
What we offer
A single technique rarely does the job. We combine methods based on many years of experience — matched to your complaints.
Classic MassageThe proven classic for tension in the neck, back and shoulders.
With warm oil, kneading, long strokes and focused pressure we work on the hardened spots. We keep checking the intensity with you — deep enough to release the tension, and always comfortable.
Particularly suitable for
- Desk-work tension
- Stiff neck
- A first massage
Meridian MassageWork along the energy channels of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Meridian massage follows the understanding of Traditional Chinese Medicine. With focused pressure we work along the lines that it describes as energy channels. Most guests find the treatment deeply relaxing. It is our speciality.
Particularly suitable for
- Tired despite sleep
- Inner restlessness
- Tension that keeps coming back
Cupping TherapySuction instead of pressure — with glass cups.
In cupping, the suction of glass cups creates an upward pull, unlike the downward pressure of an ordinary massage. The skin reddens at the treated spot — hence the typical marks, which fade again after a few days.
Particularly suitable for
- Stubborn back tension
- After overexertion
- After sport
Manual Lymphatic DrainageFeather-light, rhythmic strokes — the gentlest treatment we offer.
The strokes are feather-light and follow an even rhythm, almost like gentle waves on the skin. Barely any pressure is applied.
Particularly suitable for
- Heavy legs
- After long flights
- The gentlest treatment
Foot ReflexologyWork on the soles of the feet. A warm foot bath is included from 60 minutes.
According to the teaching of reflexology, particular points on the sole are each assigned to an area of the body. We work through these points one after another with thumb pressure.
Particularly suitable for
- Tired feet
- Long hours standing
- To wind down in the evening
- Cold feet
Therapeutic MassageWith a doctor’s referral: you choose the treatment and the length as usual, and we issue the invoice for your insurer.
A therapeutic massage requires a doctor’s referral. Which treatment and which length is up to you, just as otherwise — the price is the one from the price list. If your health insurer approves the referral before treatment begins, partial reimbursement is possible — for example after post-traumatic changes, restricted mobility or musculoskeletal complaints. We issue an invoice that you can submit together with the referral to ÖGK, SVS or BVAEB.
Particularly suitable for
- After injury or surgery
- Prescribed by a doctor
- Long-standing complaints
Tuina MassageFirm strokes along the meridians — the deepest treatment we offer.
Tuina works with precise, firm strokes along the meridians. Where gentle stroking is not enough, Tuina goes considerably deeper. Tell us at any point if it becomes too much — we ease off straight away.
Particularly suitable for
- Deep-seated hardness
- Neck and shoulders
- One-sided strain
Moxa MassageWarmth from smouldering mugwort, for cold that sits in the bones.
In moxa massage we use the heat of smouldering mugwort above particular points. In the understanding of TCM this draws cold out of the body. It is the warmest treatment through a Viennese winter.
Particularly suitable for
- Cold hands and feet
- Feeling cold all the time
- Low energy in winter
Hot Stone MassageHot basalt stones, straight onto the muscles.
The hot basalt stones give their warmth to the muscles over a longer stretch of time — more evenly than hands could. We guide them across the back in calm passes and rest them on individual spots. Here the warmth is the actual tool.
Particularly suitable for
- Cold, hard muscles
- Deep relaxation
- Winter tension
Gua Sha MassageGentle scraping with a smooth tool along the muscle lines.
A smooth tool is drawn in even strokes across the oiled skin along the muscle and meridian lines. The skin reddens and the spot feels warm. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Gua Sha is traditionally used to release congestion.
Particularly suitable for
- Tense neck
- Tightness in the back
- Alongside cupping
